Trustees
Harbour is a registered charity and as such has a Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s activities are in line with its stated purpose and it meets its various legal obligations.
Our charitable purpose is defined as “The Charity’s objects are specifically restricted to relieve the needs of families and individuals affected by domestic abuse.”
To deliver on this purpose, the Trustees have agreed that our overall vision is:

Harbour can have up to 12 Trustees and our current Board includes representatives from a variety of backgrounds including:
Housing, Safeguarding, Counselling, Academia, the Law, Administration, Youth Offending and Local Government.
They bring with them a broad spectrum of professional and personal experiences which contribute to effective governance at Harbour.
